Rose is originally strong species.
Cultivation of modern rose which is an adaptable plant, can be seen everywherein the world.
However, it is inevitable to provide a good environment in order to bloom beatiful rose.
Now, this will deal with how to plant a young rose plant ("Onae" in Japanese)
*"Onae" is a young plant which has been grown for a year before being sold.

‘Season
December to February is suitable for a young plant ("Onae" in Japanese)

‘Place
First of all, it should be a place with lots of sunshine and ventilation.
It is good for the rose to get morning sunshine for 3-4 hours.
A place which some roses has already grown, is not suitable. In that case, we recomend to replace the soil.

‘Plant
First, dig a hole which is 60cm of width and depth. Put manure and fertilizer at bottom of the hole. Cover the manure and fertilizer with soil so that the plant would not touch them. Put the lovely young plant and cover the root with soil and fill the hole. Water the plant. If the soil goes down, place more soil. It's done!! It's your lovely rose!!

If a brach is getting black or not well, it is recommended to prune.

After all, give your love and affection!!

Winter has come!!
How are your plants, flowers?
They are preparing for this winter, aren't they?
This time, we would like to show you how we can help plants and flowers get over winter.

‘Preparation for plants in winter

For the plants in a plant pot, let them in a warm room during night and early morning. If you let them in the room during day time, it would be good to put them under the sunshine.

For the plants raised at garden, they need something to guard from frost and snow as below.

-Make a little green house with wood and wire. There should be sunshine for the plants which gets through the green house.
-Put lay leaf mold or peat moss above the root. (straws are also effective for such cold areas which snows
